We are so sorry to hear the news of the death of our valued colleague and TBI-REPORTER collaborator, Professor Nicola Fear.

Nicola was Director of the King’s Centre for Military Health Research (KCMHR) at King’s College London, where she dedicated her career to studying and improving the mental health and wellbeing of Armed Forces personnel, veterans, and their families.

Her work had a real-life impact on the armed forces community and veteran mental health, for which she was awarded a CBE in 2025. She leaves an outstanding legacy and will be greatly missed.
