Lay summary – After a serious brain injury, doctors can use several types of monitoring to track pressure, oxygen levels, blood flow and other changes in the brain. This review explains how combining these different sources of information in real time may help clinical teams better understand what is happening, make faster treatment decisions and improve care for people with traumatic brain injury.
