Lay summary – Dizziness and balance problems are common after traumatic brain injury and can affect quality of life, return to work and risk of falls. A common cause is BPPV, an inner-ear problem that can often be treated, but it is not routinely assessed or managed soon after injury because evidence and guidance are limited. This study explored the experiences of patients and healthcare professionals in a feasibility trial to understand whether early BPPV assessment and treatment after TBI are practical and acceptable.
